SEATTLE, Wash. – Steven Packard went 2-for-4 with three RBI but it wasn’t enough for Oregon as the Ducks dropped the series to Washington losing 7-4 on Saturday at Husky Ballpark.
How it happened: Packard gave Oregon a 1-0 lead with a solo shot in the top of the second inning and Jakob Goldfarb made it back-to-back homers for a two-run lead. Washington (12-7, 4-2 Pac-12) rallied with two runs off Oregon (11-9, 2-4) starter Kyle Robeniol in the bottom of the second and then added three runs in the fifth on a bases loaded double to take a 5-2 lead.
