SEATTLE -- The Oregon men’s tennis team established momentum early and carried it through to the end, winning 4-2 over No. 35 Washington Saturday night at the Bill Quillian Tennis Stadium.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Ducks (17-6, 3-4) clinched the doubles behind wins at the top two spots. Daan Maasland and Simon Stevens collected their 21st win of the season as they won 6-4 over Kawika Lam and Enzo Sommer on court two. The Huskies (16-8, 3-4) led on the other two courts but Jayson Amos and Armando Soemarno came back in the top spot to clinch the point in Oregon’s favor.
