STARKVILLE, Miss. – No. 24 Mississippi State scored five runs in the in the first inning and No. 11 Oregon never recovered as the Bulldogs handed the Ducks a 9-3 loss at Dudy Noble Field on Saturday.
How it happened: After giving up two hits and striking out two batters in the first inning, Oregon starter Matt Krook (0-1) lost command and couldn’t find the strike zone.
