EUGENE, Ore. – Led by a game-high 12 points apiece from a pair of freshmen in Jennah Isai and Grace VanSlooten, Oregon handled Carroll College 72-41 in an exhibition contest Friday night at Matthew Knight Arena.
VanSlooten shot 6-for-12 from the field added a team-leading nine rebounds to go with two steals and two blocks. Isai drained 4-of-6 shots from the field and hit on 4-of-5 free throws along with four rebounds and three assists.
The backcourt tandem of Endyia Rogers and Te-Hina Paopao reached double figures in scoring, with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
