EUGENE, Ore. - The Oregon softball team claimed four of the Pac-12's five postseason individual awards as the conference announced its all-Pac-12 choices Thursday.
Head coach Mike White was named Pac-12 coach of the year, Cheridan Hawkins earned Pac-12 pitcher of the year honors, Janelle Lindvall was named Pac-12 defensive player of the year and Megan Kleists was named Pac-12 co-freshman of the year. The Ducks also had nine players earn either Pac-12 first team, second team or third team recognition.
White, in his seventh season with the Ducks, earned coach of the year honors for the third time in his career after also winning the award in 2013 and 2014.
