ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Oregon volleyball team advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament after beating Miami (Ohio) in its first round match, 25-22, 25-17, 22-25, 25-19, on Thursday night at Crisler Arena.
"They're a good team, a solid team," head coach Jim Moore said of the Redhawks. "We knew that and it didn't surprise us, but a very good job by them and we're happy to move on."
The Ducks (21-9) will face the winner of the second match between 12th-seeded Michigan and American at 4:30 p.m. PT on Friday.
