BERKELEY, Calif. – The No. 3 ranked Oregon softball team defeated California, 5-2, on Sunday afternoon to win a fourth straight series against the Bears.
The Ducks (42-7, 18-3 Pac-12) need just one more win next weekend against Utah in their final series of the season to clinch a fourth-straight outright Pac-12 title.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Both teams started the game with scoreless first and second innings.
The Ducks broke through in the third on a solo homer to right from Lauren Lindvall, her fourth of the year. After the homer a pair of infield singles and a walk loaded the bases with one out.
