EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon softball head coach Melyssa Lombardi added a pair of position players to the Ducks' 2020 roster on Thursday, signing infielder Maddie Hopper and utility player Jazzy Contreras.
Hopper will join the Ducks as a redshirt junior in 2020 after spending the last three years at the University of Pacific, while Contreras will arrive as a true freshman.
"I am excited to add both Maddie and Jazzy to our team," said Lombardi. "Maddie brings veteran experience to our roster and has proven that she can hit at all levels. Jazzy is also a great addition for us, and her ability to play multiple positions will be a great asset for us this upcoming year and beyond.
