The supervising film reviewer at AtQ did an admirable job previewing Washington’s two quarterbacks and attempting to extrapolate how Jedd Fisch would utilize them in the last game of the regular season. So naturally the Huskies went against what he thought was their best interest and started former backup Demond Williams. That in and of itself wasn’t a shock, but it was apparent from Washington’s first snap on offense that the Huskies had also taken the bye week to install more plays for Williams than we had seen so far this season. Fortunately for Oregon their relative advantage against Washington’s offensive line meant the Huskies struggled on offense regardless.
