Duck Tape: Film Analysis of Oregon vs Ohio State

As hythloday1’s preview of the game noted was the most likely scenario, Oregon and Ohio State were closely matched in terms of talent and neither was able to claim a “clean kill.” As usually happens in closely matched games, the outcome came down to whichever team made fewer avoidable errors in high leverage moments. By the time the score was 29-28 in the fourth quarter, it was apparent that no matter which team ended up winning their opponents would be kicking themselves for missed opportunities and extraneous events. Both offenses were able to move the ball on long drives at will, only being stopped when unforced errors put them in bad positions.
