Going deep with the Huskies’ scheme, returning personnel, and unknowns

Special thanks to Sound the Siren of The College Huddle network for reviewing my records of Washington’s roster for accuracy.
After a remarkable run to the national title game, capping a 25-3 record in two years and resuscitating the Huskies from their awful 4-8 season in 2021, head coach Kalen DeBoer and much of his staff left for Alabama in January. UW was due for quite a bit of roster turnover regardless, as their run last season was built on retaining several NFL players who might have gone pro earlier and super-seniors who’d exhausted their prolonged eligibility from the covid holiday, but the coaching change seems to have resulted in even more players hitting the portal and other departures.
