On February 9th of this year, two days after national signing day, Chip Kelly left UCLA to become Ohio State’s new offensive coordinator after six years as the Bruins’ head coach. Three days later, head coach Foster was promoted from running backs coach, to which he was hired by Kelly’s predecessor Jim Mora in his final season in 2017 and retained by Kelly.
