EUGENE, Ore. – Senior guard Chris Duarte earned his first all-American award of the 2020-21 season Friday when he was named to the College Hoops Today third team by Jon Rothstein.
Singled out as the best player in the Pac-12 by Rothstein during his "Stuffed" program on Tuesday, Duarte is one of just three players nationally averaging 17.0 points and 1.9 steals per game while shooting 50 percent from the field. He is the only major conference player with those averages.
The Pac-12 Player of the Year candidate is also one of five finalists for the 2021 Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award.
