There are some interesting names on the entry list for Saturday's International Mile at this year's Prefontaine Classic at Hayward Field
For starters, there is Drew Hunter. Hunter signed a college letter of intent with the Oregon Ducks in 2016. But he changed mind and turned professional right out of high school.
Hunter won the mile on Saturday in the Boston Boost Games, clocking a personal-record time of 3:56.72.
Had Hunter followed through on his letter of intent, he could have been a UO teammate of Blake Haney. Haney, redshirting this year, is a seven time All-American at Oregon who is redshirting and will join Hunter in the race.
