Tuesday was a very busy day for Oregon basketball, with both the men’s and women’s teams in action.
The women kicked things off against North Texas on Tuesday morning, who were coming off a huge 76-74 win against the perennial powerhouse Baylor Bears on Sunday night. The Ducks came out ready to show the world that their last victory was no fluke, and they did just that. Though they started the game fairly sloppy on offense, only scoring 27 first half points, the Ducks defense was more than ready to shoulder the load, holding the Mean Green to a mere 9 points while forcing them into 11 turnovers.
