Pimpleton spent last season coaching running backs at South Florida under current Oregon head coach Willie Taggart. Pimpleton was also a former teammate of Taggart's at Western Kentucky.
Prior to South Florida, Pimpleton served as an offensive quality control analyst in 2010-11 at his alma mater during Taggart's first season as head coach before joining the WKU staff as receivers coach in 2012.
