Donnovan Moorer, Oregon Ducks 2020 pledge, decommits from program

It can't all be good news for the Oregon Ducks football program.

After landing a trio of four-star prospects early this week, Oregon got its first bit of bad news Tuesday evening.

247Sports two-star wide receiver Donnovan Moorer, a class of 2020 prospect, announced his decommitment on social media.

The 5-foot-8, 152-pound pass-catcher, out of Stephenson High School (Stone Mountain, Georgia), committed to Oregon and Willie Taggart in November and was seen as a likely future departure soon after the turnover to Mario Cristobal.

"A lot of people have been asking me why I wanted to do it so early, especially without a visit, but I talked to a lot of people," Moorer told The Oregonian shortly after his pledge.
