EUGENE -- Oregon defensive coordinator Don Pellum spoke with reporters Friday about the progress of his unit after nine spring practices, calling the Ducks "close" to where he hoped they'd be with two weeks to go in spring.
Oregon is two weeks away from wrapping up spring with its May 2 spring game in Autzen Stadium.
Oregon will scrimmage for the second time this spring on Monday, Pellum said, and he wants to see more "intensity" from the defense.
