EUGENE, Ore. – Highlighted by a collegiate-record performance in the men's distance-medley relay, the Oregon track and field team collected eight top-10 program marks and two wins Friday at the Razorback Invitational. James West, Jacob Miller, Charlie Hunter and Cooper Teare combined for a time of 9:24.52 to take down the 12-year-old NCAA best of 9:25.97 set by Texas in 2008.
West (2:53.53), Miller (47.47), Hunter (1:48.08) and Teare (3:55.45) shaved more than two second off the previous Oregon record, as well, and finished more than 11 seconds ahead of the second-place team in Friday's race.
