CORVALLIS -- On what was set to be a historic day for Dillon Mitchell instead turned out with Oregon's top receiver being more of a spectator.
Mitchell, who entered Friday's Civil War needed 36 yards to break the program's single-season receiving yards record, sat out the first quarter for disciplinary reasons, sat out the second half due to personnel packages and had just one catch for nine yards in Oregon's 55-15 win at Reser Stadium.
Oregon coach Mario Cristobal said Mitchell, who spent most of the day sitting on the bench, was held out for the first quarter for being late to a meeting.
