Oregon softball won their final home game of the season, in better weather conditions than we’ve generally seen this past month or so, in front of a robust crowd of over 1,600 fans.
The final score of 9-2 belies how close the game was up until the fifth inning, when the Ducks put their foot to the pedal and applied the acceleration needed to put the Bears away.
Stevie Hansen took the start and pitched well in the first three innings. While she was keeping Northern Colorado off the board, the Oregon bats started picking away at runs in those first few innings.
