EUGENE -- Oregon's secondary has been tested over the last two weeks by two of the better quarterbacks in the Pac-12 and each game sophomore cornerback Deommodore Lenoir was able to intercept them.
"He's playing with a purpose," safety Ugochukwu Amadi said. "He's playing like he wants to be known for locking down receivers. He started having that mind set that 'no one can catch balls on me.' That's been carrying not just through games but practice as well."
Lenoir intercepted Jake Browning just two plays into the win against Washington, helping setup Oregon's first score.
Last week against Washington State, Lenoir intercepted Gardner Minshew II to stop Washington State in the red zone on its first possession and then later got a second interception on a long ball and the Ducks scored a touchdown on their ensuing drive.
