Damyean Dotson, who was kicked off the Oregon Ducks basketball team in the wake of a sexual assault accusation in 2014, is about to join a prominent college basketball program, according to a published report.
The Houston Chronicle's Joseph Duarte reports that Dotson says he will sign a letter of intent to play for the University of Houston.
"A lot of people don't get a second chance," Dotson told the Chronicle. "They say one chance comes in a lifetime. To have a second chance, I can't mess this up."
Dotson and two Oregon teammates, Brandon Austin and Dominic Artis, were accused of sexually assaulting a female student, but were not charged.
