EUGENE, Ore. - Jordan Dail has been named the Pac-12 pitcher of the week after leading the Ducks to a 3-1 weekend in Missouri with three complete-game wins, the conference announced on Monday afternoon.
Dail was stellar for the Ducks in two starts against Pittsburgh and one against Missouri, going 3-0 with three complete games in a span of 24 hours. The sophomore left-hander allowed just five runs on seven hits over 19.0 total innings pitched, racking up 23 strikeouts with only seven walks. Dail was especially good in Oregon's 4-1 win over Missouri on Saturday, striking out seven over seven complete innings while allowing just one run on two hits and holding the Tigers hitless through the first four innings.
