PUERTO VALLARTA, Mexico – tossed a complete-game shutout, striking out 11 while allowing just four hits and walking one in Oregon's 1-0 win over Nevada Saturday in its fourth game of the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge.
How it Happened: Dail ran into some trouble right off the bat, giving up singles to the first two hitters of the game before a bunt put runners at second and third with one out. She worked out of the jam, though, picking up a strikeout and getting a groundout to end the threat.
The junior lefty got in a groove over the next three frames, retiring nine of the 10 she faced while striking out seven over that span.
