Cross Patton, Georgia RB and son of rapper Big Boi, commits to Oregon Ducks

"Glitter, glisten, gloss, floss. I catch a beat running like Randy Moss."

Killer Mike's lyrics on OutKast's "The Whole World," may not have come from rapper Big Boi, but the hit song no doubt caught the listening ear of his son, Cross Patton, at some point during his childhood.

But while his father became famous for his work in the studio, Patton has become one of the top running backs in the state of Georgia, perhaps focusing on the "running like Randy Moss" side of things.

On Friday, the 5-foot-7, 185-pound ball-carrier, out of Woodward Academy (Atlanta, Georgia), set the stage for his future, committing to the Oregon Ducks as a preferred walk-on over scholarship offers from Butler, Columbia, Seton Hall, Virginia State and others.
