EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon shortstop Drew Cowley was named to the Collegiate Baseball All-America Third-Team on Thursday. The Ducks' senior is just the 11th Oregon player all-time to earn a spot on a CB All-America Team.
A year after earning second-team All-ABCA West Region honors, Cowley claimed third-team All-America honors after being named first-team All-Pac-12. A semifinalist for the Brooks Wallace Award honoring the nation's top shortstop, Cowley heads into the Nashville Regional Tournament leading the Ducks in hits (75) while tying for the team lead in home runs (15), RBI (61), runs (57) and doubles (19).
