OAKLAND, Calif. -- Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins left Game 2 of Golden State's first-round playoff series against the LA Clippers on Monday night with an injury to his left quad.
There is significant concern that Cousins tore the quad, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, but there won't be certainty until his MRI on Tuesday. The hope is that it's only a strain.
A torn quad would require several months of rehab.
The injury occurred with 8:30 left in the first quarter, after Cousins knocked away a pass from Clippers forward Danilo Gallinari.
