EUGENE, Ore. – The National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) announced its week two honors for the 2021 season on Thursday morning, with Oregon's Payton Coon earning Athlete of the Week honors to highlight the weekly awards. UO's Alyssa Hew was also recognized as the Specialist of the Week.
Coon earned her third career NCATA Athlete of the Week honor after leading Oregon to a season-opening win over Arizona Christian on Sunday. During the meet, she competed in 12 heats and the team event for UO, leading the Ducks to 11 scores of 9.
