EUGENE -- There will be no last-minute reprieve from the weather as the Pac-12 Track & Field Championships unfold this weekend at Hayward Field.
The forecast calls for cool and wet today, and slightly warmer and wet tomorrow.
It shouldn't bother the fans too much, since most of Hayward's available seating is under cover.
But it could bear on the meet, in which the Ducks are seeking to sweep the men's and women's team titles for the ninth consecutive year. The UO men have won every team title since 2007.
The Ducks' principal challenger in both the men's and women's competition is expected to be USC, and the Trojans won't find the conditions anything like those in sunny, Southern California.
