Former Oregon Ducks tight end Colt Lyerla was arrested Monday on suspicion of heroin possession and first-degree forgery.
Lyerla, 24, remains held in the Washington County Jail Tuesday on an additional accusation he violated his probation from an earlier drug conviction. Lyerla was sentenced on March 14 in Washington County Circuit Court to a year and a half of probation after a judge found him guilty in February of possessing heroin.
He is scheduled to be arraigned on the new accusations at 3 p.m., Tuesday.
Lyerla's criminal history includes a 2013 conviction in Lane County for cocaine possession.
