I still think the Oregon Ducks will win the NCAA women's outdoor track & field title, but they have lost much of their margin for error.
Track & Field News projected the Ducks for 68 points in its most recent NCAA Outdoor Championships form chart, which was 18 more than second-place USC and 20 more than third-place Georgia.
But that was before Oregon didn't get the 4x100 through the West Regional in Austin, Texas. And before hard-luck, world-class sprinter Hannah Cunliffe's season apparently came to an abrupt end for the second consecutive season during the regional because of what UO coach Robert Johnson referred to as a tight hamstring.
