Conference tournaments for women's college golf are being played around the country this week, and the state of Oregon is doing well.
Portland State senior A Ram Choi repeated as individual champion in the Big Sky Conference, while Oregon stayed alive in its quest for its first Pac-12 team title.
Choi, a senior from Surrey, British Columbia, made 17 pars and one birdie to shoot her second consecutive 1-under-par 71 at the Ocotillo Golf Resort in Chandler, Arizona. Choi finished the 54-hole tournament at 216, five shots ahead of runner-up Taylor Viquelia of Southern Utah.
