It is probably appropriate that Oregon Football is ranked inside the Top 15 and not higher. Part of that reason I believe is because of a weaker Pac-12 Conference which should shake itself out in the first month of the regular season. It is finally starting to feel more like the College Football season is getting closer.
While Oregon Football came in at 13th in the initial Amway Coaches Poll, the Auburn Tigers, are also ranked at 16th. It will be the first season-opening game where Oregon has faced a ranked opponent in the Mario Cristobal era on August 31st.
