EUGENE -- Call it The Overtime Game.
Thanks to a missed 37-yard field goal attempt by Washington's Peyton Henry as time expired, No. 17 Oregon went on to topple the rival Np. 7 Huskies, 30-27 in overtime, as CJ Verdell ran in from six yards out to cap the upset before a euphoric Autzen Stadium on Saturday.
It was the second straight win over a ranked team for Oregon (5-1, 2-1 Pac-12), which will likely be the top-ranked Pac-12 team next week.
The Ducks avenged back-to-back losses to the Huskies and improved to 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the Pac-12 for the first time since 2014.
