STANFORD, Calif. – The Oregon women's golf team is tied for fifth place through 18 holes at the Stanford Intercollegiate after opening the weekend with a 4-over 288 on Friday at Stanford Golf Course.
The No. 5 Ducks – coached this week by assistant Monica Vaughn while head coach Derek Radley remains in Eugene awaiting the birth of his third child – were 4-over par through the first nine holes before shooting even as a team on the back nine. No. 1 Stanford leads the field at 11 under on its home course.
