Wur was planning on going the JUCO route as it seemed he wasn’t going to be academically eligible to play in the NCAA but (at the last moment) Lök announced that he qualified academically. Because of this, the 6’9 power forward saw his stock rise dramatically and the D-I programs came calling.
Lök was looking at other schools such as Creighton, Rutgers, Washington State, Texas A&M, Iowa, and DePaul before he recently committed to Oregon. He averaged 20.8 PPG, 10 RPG and 2.5 BPG in his senior season at Papillion-La Vista South High School in Nebraska.
As he is transitioning to life in Eugene, I hit up Lök Wur to welcome him to the Oregon family and talk about his basketball future as a Duck.
