EUGENE -- With a perfect record heading into Pac-12 Conference play this week, Oregon head coach Willie Taggart had some good news to share for Ducks fans.
The first-year Oregon head coach doesn't expect star wide receiver Charles Nelson to be out long.
Nelson, a senior, was carted off the field with a lower-leg injury following his second catch in Oregon's 47-13 over Wyoming on Saturday. After the game, Taggart said the Ducks were hopeful the injury wasn't as bad as it looked. On Monday, Taggart confirmed his initial belief, saying the injury was an ankle sprain.
