Centrowitz Continues Dominance in 1,500

In final day action of the Olympic Trials, the Ducks still had a few athletes waiting to clinch spots in Rio. Matthew Centrowitz won the men's 1500 U.S. title in 3:34.09, marking the fourth time in six years he's claimed the event. Centrowitz had company, as there were six Ducks in the finals, but was the only one to qualify for Rio. The next highest finisher was Johhny Gregorek, in sixth place (3:38.76). Gregorek, Colby Alexander, and Daniel Winn went 6-7-8.

Centrowitz wasn't the only distance runner to compete on the day, as Jordan Hasay ran in the women's 5,000.
