YAKIMA, Wash. – Caroline Inglis’ spectacular summer play continued Friday as she won the 85th Women’s TRANS National Golf Association Amateur Championship at the Yakima Country Club.
After shooting 70 and 75 the first two days of the tournament, the senior started her run up the leaderboards on Thursday by posting a 67, putting her just three shots off the lead going into Friday’s final round.
Sixteen-year old Pauline Del Rosario was the player to beat and Inglis did just that by posting a 69 for three under par. That score was good enough to give the Eugene, Ore.
