HOLLWOOD, Calif. -- As secrets go, Oregon football coach Mario Cristobal shared a bunch of them on Wednesday. At Pac 12 Media Day he sat at a small table during the lunch break, leaned forward, and shared that he misses training in the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
He loves the sport. He was introduced to it in college at Miami.
"It teaches discipline. I'm thinking about introducing my son to it."
More on that some other time.
Also, he spilled the story of Alabama coach Nick Saban summoning one-time Ducks defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti in 2014 to help his staff learn to defend the Chip Kelly-like fast-paced spread offenses.
