Oregon lost its first game under head coach Willie Taggart, losing to Arizona State on Saturday in Tempe. The Ducks are 3-1. Oregon State was idle, but plays at home vs. Washington on Saturday. The Beavers are 1-3.

A) My column posted late Saturday night off the Ducks 37-35 loss to ASU settles one thing: Oregon isn't back. Not anywhere close. Maybe you knew. Maybe I knew. But that was settled.
B) What does it mean? I think Ducks fans are going to develop ulcers watching this season.
