It's Chip Kelly week. So before we get too far along, a few facts on the UCLA football coach: Kelly went 33-3 in Pac-12 games while the head coach at Oregon. He took the Ducks to four BCS bowl games in four seasons in Eugene. Also, he once apparently tried to karate-chop a folding table in half in the visiting locker room at Stanford.

Former UO star running back LaMichael James told me the story this week. The Ducks were playing at No. 3 Stanford in 2011. Oregon was winning the game just before halftime, but gave up a touchdown pass to Andrew Luck.
