Can Oregon's defense, which leads Pac-12 in sacks, rattle Washington QB Jake Browning?

EUGENE -- When Jake Browning has time to operate in a clean pocket the Washington quarterback is lethally accurate and efficient, but when under pressure and in obvious passing downs this season Browning's been at or near the bottom of the Pac-12 and among the nation's most unsteady signal callers.

The massive disparity in Browning's situational effectiveness underlines how vital it will be for No. 17 Oregon, which leads the Pac-12 in sacks, to get No. 7 Washington's offense behind the chains on Saturday (12:30 p.m., ABC/ESPN2).

"With what we do right now defensively and the caliber of player of (Washington's) guys up front, they understand the importance of making sure that that pocket is uncomfortable," Oregon coach Mario Cristobal said.
