Running Back/Wide Receiver Byron Marshall has been taken from the Practice Squad and added to the 53-man roster for the Philadelphia Eagles. He could see his first action this weekend. Marshall played a key role for the Oregon Ducks in college learning to become a two way player on Offense, both as a Running Back and a Wide Receiver. He was signed as a free agent after the 2016 NFL Draft came and went without him hearing his name called.
As a Sophomore, he rushed for over 1,000 yards for the Oregon Ducks. In his Junior season he was asked to step into the role of Wide Receiver and had a 1,000 yard season catching the ball.
