Ryan Hill of the Bowerman Track Club tangled with Shadrack Kipchirchir of the U.S. Army's World Class Athlete program on the last lap of the men's 3,000 final in the U.S. Indoor Track & Field Championships -- literally.
There clearly was some bumping and shoving going on between the two as they battled to the finish yesterday in the Albuquerque Convention Center..
The U.S. Army's Paul Chelimo won the race to nail down one of the two berths in the event on the U.S. World Indoor team. Kipchirchir held off Hill for second place and the other.
