The Oregon Ducks football program inked a top-20 national recruiting class on Signing Day in February, then Mario Cristobal and his coaching staff began the cycle again for the class of 2019.
For 247sports four-star athlete Bryan Addison, the nation's No. 3 athlete, that transition didn't go as smoothly.
After signing with Chip Kelly and the UCLA Bruins, the 6-foot-5, 190-pound two-way standout, out of Junipero Serra High School (Gardena, California), "had an issue with a standardized test score," causing UCLA to delay his admittance into school.
Rather than continue waiting, Addison asked for, and was granted, a full release from UCLA, allowing him to re-open his recruitment with immediate eligibility this fall.
