SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The honors keep coming for junior forward Dillon Brooks.
Two days after he was named Pac-12 Player of the Year, Brooks was selected as one of five finalists for the 2017 Julius Erving Small Forward of the Year Award, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced Wednesday.
Brooks was joined on the ballot by Josh Hart of Villanova, Josh Jackson of Kansas, Justin Jackson of North Carolina and Jayson Tatum of Duke.
Brooks, who missed the first three games of the year recovering from off-season foot surgery, leads the Ducks in scoring at 16.
