Black Monday: Ducks confirm season-ending injuries to Allen, Crosby

After initial reports from several sources, the Oregon Duck Athletic Office confirmed yesterday that junior wide receiver Devon Allen and veteran left tackle Tyrell Crosby have suffered serious injuries and are lost for the season.

Allen, Oregon’s Olympic hurdler and one of the fastest players in college football, tore the ACL in his left knee covering a punt in the fourth quarter at Nebraska. He pulled up clutching the knee, a non-contact injury.
