SYRACUSE, N.Y. – After taking a one-point lead into halftime, the No. 1 ranked Oregon women's basketball team erupted for 31 points in the third quarter to pull away from No. 17 Syracuse and secure a big top-20 road win, 81-64, on Sunday at the Carrier Dome.
The Ducks (4-0) matched their point total from the entire first half in the third quarter alone, building a 16-point lead going into the fourth. Four players scored in double figures for Oregon, led by a game-high 23 from junior Satou Sabally in her first official game of the 2019-20 season.
